This is the only salt I’ll cook with and consume. I’ve replaced all my salt at the table in the in spice cabinet at my house and my parents’ house. It tastes great, has some mineral value, and is not hyper-processed like other table salts.

I saw a reel on social media explaining the benefits of adding celtic sea salt to your water for better hydration so I ordered this to see if it works – it really does! I drink tons and tons of water (always have) but never feel like my thirst is quenched (no underlying medical conditions). As soon as I started adding a tiny pinch of this celtic sea salt to my water, I noticed that my body is actually absorbing the water now. Before, it felt like it was just running through me and now I feel like my body is actually getting the minerals it’s needed for so long. I also use this salt for cooking and don’t notice a difference in flavor.

I use this sea salt for everything. The flavor is very tasty. Do u sell it on its own shaker?

I personally just thought salt was salt. It helps flavor your food. Pink salt, table salt, generic, name brand… all the same right? I was wrong! This salt has a different taste, effect and flavor. You definitely don’t need much of it. When they say a pinch, it means just a pinch. When I first tried it, i just took some directly from the bag and tasted it. Immediately i noticed the flavor was strong but not burning strong and it didn’t have that odd aftertaste (the one you get when you can tell the salt on your margarita glass is a tad old and exceeded its shelf life). I don’t think I will ever go back to other salt.

Big fan of this brand and this particular type of salt. I mostly use it for baking bread or making soup as I tend to grind salt to season a plate of food. It seems like the price can fluctuate, and its increase does impact my purchase. However, it is a good salt without additives and is mostly worth the price point.

I had been wanting to try this, but the price is painful. At any rate, here is what I think:

    1. The taste lingers longer on the taste buds than that of “regular” table salt.
    2. There is a subtle briny seawater taste there, but it’s pleasant and not overpowering.
    3. As a morning supplement (I only used about 1/16 of a tsp) in my water, this was nice. It will take a while before I notice any potential benefits.
    4. On my food (I used this on some sweet potato fries, white potato fries, and a sauteed onion-sweet pepper mix), this was not as noticeably different as it was in water. Again, the taste was nice and there is that very subtle difference in that this lingers longer.
    5. This was not damp – as I had expected from reading up on it. It was completely dry, so maybe the dampness is more common in the coarse grind variety.
    5. The price is high here and much lower ($7) on the official site. However, the site is always out of stock, and the shipping brings the price back up. I’m going to look for a local seller.
    6. While salt is salt and moderation is key, this is lower in sodium and some other minerals that I have to monitor. (The coarse blend is even lower.)
    7. I am glad that I took the chance & spent the money to try this. I would buy it again, but I will use it very sparingly to make it last.
    8. For anyone wondering about the GMO aspect, (mine did not have the stamp on the front), from what I understand, salt is typically non-GMO by nature. Salt “is a mineral and cannot be genetically modified because it doesn’t have DNA.” I’m still not sure why my bag came without the GMO-free label.
    9. I suggest that for anyone interested, to go watch a video about how this salt is “farmed” in the clay beds. It’s a cool process.

As I think about the price again, I’ve decided that a pound of salt is a LOT because I’m only supposed to have such a small amount in a full day. The bag might seem small, but… I’m not too mad that I splurged. I might have to give the coarse version a try.

This is my go-to salt. I have slowly migrated toward healthier options. I started out using the coarse grey Celtic salt, then I wanted to go to the ground version. I keep this in a small drawer-like container behind my stovetop to scoop out with a spoon when I’m cooking. I also have it in a regular salt shaker; I did slightly enlarge a couple of the shaker holes, so it comes out a little quicker. One thing I noticed, this salt doesn’t clump like regular salt, it remains easy to pour.

I like that this salt retains minerals, it’s not processed out, from what I have read, this salt has more minerals types than any other salt (including the pink Himalayan salt).

It is more expensive than regular table salt, but it’s soooo worth it, a bag of this lasts longer than you think it will, I buy 2-one pound bags to keep on hand.

Years ago I heard to add mineral salt to warm water. This was the recommended salt The ones in the past had more of the mineral (they are black and maybe people complained- but that is what you want, the minerals). Yes it is a little expensive. But what are your health benefits worth?
