This foundation is perfect for those of us with combo skin. I will admit that I am in my 30’s and at a spot where foundation helps my appearance significantly, but with the combination of acne-prone, yet very dry, skin, it is hard to find a good foundation. This foundation is a fantastic answer. I have worn it 3 days in a row and have no peeling/flaking and ZERO pimples/clogged pores. Most foundations only require a day to send my skin into hyper sensitivity mode where I break out and peel at the same time. I am sooo happy to say that this foundation is safe for the skin and provides the right amount of buildable coverage. I would say this foundation is great for teens with acne who want even tone and adults with combo skin who want a solid foundation. With all of that said, it is worth also mentioning that I do not use any other acne wash with salicylic acid, only charcoal, so I do not double down on the drying agents; if you use more products with this acid, you may want to adjust accordingly. I also only apply this right after applying my usual heavier AM moisturizer, for a dewier look and avoidance of the dry nose/chin. Overall I am very happy with this foundation and will recommend it to anyone in a similar boat as me looking for a makeup refresher.

Extremely lightweight. Blends easily. Very light coverage, buildable to an extent. Doesn’t cause breakouts. Some improvement in appearance.

I tried this foundation in the color Ivory, which is supposed to be Cool Neutral, but it def had a yellowy undertone on me, which is not the look.
The product itself is great! Great coverage, smooths out easily and no weird smell.

This foundation is pretty good, I did grab a color that was slightly more warm and orangey than I expected based on the images but that could have just been me. I like how compact the product is and will likely be great to travel. The lid screws off and you can gently squeeze to dispense which is nice when youre in a hurry. I have applied using my fingertips and a brush and I found my fingers worked just fine to pat this onto blemishes and blend out. Unfortunately, it did oxidize pretty badly but it actually helped treat my breakouts so I am definitely doing to continue to use this but I may just spot cover my pimples and invest in a lighter shade to help compensate Overall the finish is definitely medium to full depending on application and amount. It dries down fairly quickly to a nice matte finish so work a bit quick when you get going. I have worn all day without any breakage or spotting and it does not budge until the end of the day when I am removing it.

This Clinique foundation has a really nice lightweight feeling on my skin and doesn’t leave it looking cakey or heavy. I got it in the shade “Golden Neutral” and it leans very yellow on my skin which was disappointing. It didn’t separate or look patchy on my skin, but did accentuate my pores a little so I’ll probably have to use a pore primer with it. Overall, it’s a decent foundation if you get it in the right shade.

I guesses on my color and ended up with exactly what I need just based off of the pictures provided! That was wonderful, my skin color has slowly darkened from fair skinned pale to fair skinned ‘the sun is beginning to acknowledge me’ over the last few years. I have been struggling not living near a good makeup store, I try to go by pictures when ordering but it is usually so so off.
Everything applies smoothly with a makeup sponge. I didn’t use a primer, just my moisturizer, but I looked healthy and not caked. So big plus. And it wasn’t an oily look like so many of the ‘dewy’ foundations that have been all the rage. Bigger plus.
Only down is the promise of salicylic acid inside had me confident enough to apply even on breakout days, but it really behaves for me like a standard foundation and even irritates my acne a little. Seemed like a promise implied but not carried out, which is a little sad.
Overall, a nice foundation!

Acne solutions liquid make up by Clinique and made in Belgium. I got shade CN52 neutral (M/F). My usual is Clinique Even Better makeup and I have used this for years and years. Thought I would try something new. I have sensitive aging skin but not acne. OMG this is so lovely to apply. It slips on with a silky feel and is invisible within seconds. I do not know the ingredient is that gives it that silky feel, I spot inactive ingredient list, nylon, I don’t know. It was my belief it would be just like my Even Better foundation with a little salicylic 0.5% added. But this feels so different, so nice, I am not going back. I like a no make up make up look and this is perfect. I think salicylic acid benefits anyone no matter your skin type. This is perfect foe aging skin in my opinion because it glides on with no drag & minimal blending. The only way you could be disappointed with this is if you prefer a thick heavy make up look, because this is not. Otherwise you’ll love it. So pleased to find this. Note: it does not contain SPF.

I have really oily skin and by the end of the work day my forehead was always greasy and I had closed comedones. I would come home wash my face wake up and they were gone but by the end of the work day they were back. This make up fixed that! And it’s not cakey/too matte if that makes sense! I still have my natural skin glow! Super lightweight it’s like a tinted skin treatment with medium to full coverage. God send for oily girls like me!

I unfortunately have large pores that do get clogged, redness and oily skin. This makeup covers my skin well and promises to make it better over time. It goes on smoothly (I use a foundation brush to apply). It covers my imperfections and lasts well throughout the day. I do use it with a mattifying primer and setting powder, but it still looks good in the afternoon. My teenager who has acne has also started using this product. It definitely helps to cover blemishes and I feel good that this has salicylic acid in it so it is helping treat their acne, and not clogging pores.

This product is as advertised. My only complaint is that the color match is hard to figure out. I have olive skin tone and selected “golden neutral” and the color was a little too orange for me (photo of forearm, dab of the product + strip of when it’s rubbed into skin). The coverage is light, so although the salicylic acid may help shrink pimples and heal a breakout, it only slightly camouflages discoloration. Salicylic acid can dry out your skin since it acts like a lighter exfoliant, this product probably isn’t best for daily use on areas without pimples.
