I love this tool for grooming my long haired cats. My cat loves the feel even when trying to get out the mats. The handle is comfortable to hold. It works very well and really gets out the excess hair!

I have 2 Ragdoll cats with long fur and this brush is too good to believe. It is the best brush I’ve ever tried! It easily removes shed fur and can even detangle knots. The only bad thing about the brush is that it doesn’t “hold” the fur once removed and so it does make a big mess. But honestly, it doesn’t matter because their coats look great now. I just keep a vacuum close by and pick up all the loose fur that falls. I would definitely recommend this brush for pet owners who have pets with long fur that tends to be thick and hard to thoroughly brush.

I bought this because I have some senior long haired cats that get matted hair and instead of taking them to get shaved (which they don’t like the car ride or getting shaved) I thought I’d get this and try to get them out. I’ve brushed them all and after I was done there was so much hair so as far as that aspect it works well. However, using the side to get the matted hair, it doesn’t seem to work for me. I tried many times and used different angles and I haven’t had any luck. I don’t want them to get hot spots under there so will most likely need to get them shaved. I did even use scissors to cut through the middle of them to try and break them up/open but it didn’t help. These may works for others but they didn’t for me to get the matted hair/hairballs out.

Great value and works as described. I tried another well known but far more expensive rake brush and this one works just as well. The grooming gloves are a bonus. I use them on my golden puppy after playing outdoors to look for pesky ticks. She loves the massages she gets when I have these gloves on. Highly recommend!
Terrifyingly great –
I have been using this in my long hair cat. Of course he is just a random mix of long hairs. It works great, too great. No matter how much I use it more hair comes out. Where does come from? I don’t know. He just has more. I know he has more because he still, can’t even get it all out by cleaning himself because I’ve picked it out. The tool works great for collecting all the fur it is difficult to remove but I can’t complain too much. If you have a long hair animal, you should get this. And also pick up how to make yarn.

My cat has mid length hair but was getting some matting on her hind legs. Brushes would only pull and irritate her. I got this tool to see how easy and effective it would be. After only a few strokes it lifted the deep matting to the surface and the knotted hair began to come free. After a good brush session with the rake her hair was smooth. After a couple days her hair began to look more healthy and was gaining its shine back. I made sure to introduce the tool to her as a positive experience. Now she looks forward to the extra grooming.

I have a short haired German Shepherd and she sheds quite a bit all the time but especially bad in the fall and spring. I’ve purchased several brushes which claim to de-shed, I had no idea just how poorly they worked until I used this brush!! I was hesitant to order this because I have purchased similar ones which really did not brush her very well. After I read the reviews, I ordered it and am SO HAPPY I DID!! It is amazing, works so well it’s almost unbelievable! I’ll NEVER BUY A DIFFERENT BRUSH AGAIN!! I wish I would have found it years ago!! I highly recommend this brush to any dog owner, it is truly incredible and has saved me literally HOURS in brushing time!!

Seriously….if you’re in the market for a new comb/brush, 𝑬𝑺𝑷𝑬𝑪𝑰𝑨𝑳𝑳𝒀 if you have a breed with a double coat like a husky, pomsky, German shepherd etc!!! I’ve read countless reviews that all claim they have found the greatest brush/Comb and because of those reviews I have a drawer full of useless tools and a wallet with a lot less money!
This is the first one I’ve felt so inclined to write about! I had previously been using the Furminator demanding tool for the inevitable matting that comes with the territory. While it is good, it is only so good. AND in fact it can even be BAD for breeds like Pomskys and I have 2 of them!
The reason it is bad for pomskys is that it uses a blade to cut the mats out and you should never ever cut a double coated dog’s hair. When their hair is cut (or God forbid shaved!) it could take a very long time to grow back, might not grow back the same , and might not grow back at all! Double coats protect the dogs from cold temps AND heat! If they are missing this they are more apt to have a heat stroke and more!
Needless to say we don’t use anything with a blade but still needed something strong enough to get the undercoat out. This fit the bill! The hair you see in the photo is just from a very small portion of my one pomskys fur! It comes out SO easy and really makes a MASSIVE difference.
At first use, the dogs were skeptical and not wanting to participate but as soon as I began combing, they fell into a trance like state and often fell asleep! It appears that the curvature of the blades is massaging to them so they actually enjoy it! The only time they don’t is if it is really tangled and then you have to go slow.
There are two different sides, a wider and a more narrower comb. We use the wider one first and then go back through with the narrower one. It absolutely blows my mind how much hair this gets out with very little effort! Life changing for those who haven’t dogs with double coats! It even works wonders though on my westie…better than anything else I’ve used so we are a converted family for sure!
Buy this….you won’t regret it!

Uh… hm. So this undercoat brush does in fact remove that pesky undercoat. I have a Husky. She absolutely hates it and tries to bite it, though she will let me brush her with my wife’s hair brush, both sides. I try it on her about once a week for a minute at a time. The hair sure comes out. But it is not the easiest to remove the hair with your bare fingers. I’ve tried waving it up and down back and forth to get the hair out. Either gotta vacuum it out or do it with your fingers, and I dunno, I don’t like my fingers up against those blades. They aren’t exactly sharp, but they aren’t super dull either. Whatever the case, it does do what it says it does, but the Husky runs like hell or tries to bite it, whatever it takes to make me stop. I used the gloves which also work, and she’ll let me do it for about 1 or 2 minutes so I try to get a lot fast haha. The gloves pick up quite a bit also.
